I can’t believe that I used to talk to so many people online when I was like 14-15? I guess I was more uninhibited in a way but now I just don’t even know how id do that. I don’t even know how people make friends on tumblr either. like how does that actually happen. people make things sound so casual but I feel like it’s like climbing a mountain except I don’t even know where the mountain is and it’s pitch black outside. I’m such a freak it’s terrible sorry.

Notice something in common in these photos?

It’s not what you think

I gave it away in the third pic

That’s right! None of these cops are wearing badges or name tags! I wonder why… seems like it’d be important to wear those, since it’s even illegal not to in other states…

This is actually illegal in all states. A police officer must be marked as such with name and badge at all times unless their jurisdiction states otherwise (such as an undercover officer), and even when not wearing a badge, the officer must have the badge accessible at all times and must show the badge in order to make an arrest. Name tags are not required as long as a badge is available because the badge has the officer number on it.

This has really been bothering me. The police in Ferguson are breaking the law by concealing their identities. Everyone knows this, it’s been going on for ten days, and it appears that nobody is doing anything about it.

The police are clearly and systematically violating the first amendment rights of the press, and they are getting away with it. This has been happening for days, and nobody appears to be doing anything about it.

A police officer pointed a rifle at a journalist and told him to fuck off *while he was being filmed, so he’s easily identifiable by his superiors*, and that police officer still has a job.

I know that not all cops are bad (or even most cops), but there are clearly bad cops in Ferguson, and they’re acting with complete impunity. I don’t understand why those cops aren’t being taken off the scene, and why a higher (possibly federal) authority isn’t coming in to address these things.

I have only had like 2 close friends in life that I liked a lot of the same things as and I’m worried I still won’t be able to find anyone like that at uni. not because I’m too obscure or anything. You’ve seen my blog you know that relatively I’m a basic as hell ‘alternative’ girl. but just because I’ve had such a difficult time making friends and I don’t know even how to bridge the gap from liking someone to getting to know them better and hanging out with them. I don’t know how to take a casual interaction to like anything else. it makes me really nervous. like people seem to text a lot but do you just ask for someone’s phone number or….how do I do that without seeming weird?

god I feel like an alien :-( I guess I just have to try hard and practice like with anything but I’m also aware that when you meet new people you don’t want to try too hard because that can be scary and off putting. Especially since I’m not good at warm and friendly tones.

People are giving Wilson money to thank him for killing an unarmed black teenager. Please report this to GoFundMe, as it violates their Terms of Service and they get 5% of the tens of thousands of dollars being donated. Click to report.
This is my message, in case you want to copy and paste:
Your Terms of Service prohibit “items that promote… hate, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime.” Take a look at the comments that come with the donations on this page and tell me that doesn’t violate your terms. “Support Officer Wilson” is a thin veil for people rewarding Wilson for killing a black kid.

mohala-sumiko:

this morning, police raided Greater St. Mark school/church in Ferguson, MO (formerly called St. Sebastian’s Parish).

community members had been using it as a safe space and staging area. police claim that the church is violating housing codes by sheltering protesters, even though the pastor has said it isn’t true.

please please please boost this. help these organizers recover the supplies they lost, and share just how fucking far these cops will sink to make the people of Ferguson suffer.

George Bush doing the ice bucket challenge thing is really unsettling to me because it’s all over my dashboard right now and I truly don’t understand why people on this website now seem to think of him as America’s goofy uncle that does bad paintings you do remember who he is right?
